Account rules, security responsibilities, credits, map data and service limitations.

By continuing to access or use ZZMap, you agree to these terms and the rules, explanations and notices published on related pages.

Accounts and security

  • Provide accurate, complete and usable information when registering or signing in.
  • Keep your account, password and linked membership codes secure.
  • Contact us promptly if you suspect account theft, unusual sign-ins or exposed membership codes.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the service for unlawful activity, infringement, fraud or attacks on system security.
  • Do not bypass quotas, risk controls or permissions, or abuse APIs, exports or credits.
  • Do not scrape platform data in bulk to build a competing service without explicit authorization.

Maps and geographic data

  • Map styles, geocoding, route results and geographic data may contain delays, omissions or errors.
  • Results support mapping, analysis and presentation and should not replace on-site verification.
  • You must have a lawful source and the necessary rights for data you upload, import or process.

Credits, memberships and refunds

  • Credits provide access to certain features or processing workflows and have no cash value.
  • Code redemption, credit issuance and membership validity are determined by system records.
  • The base charge for PNG exports is calculated from the final output pixel count: 2 credits for up to 20 million pixels, plus 1 credit for each additional 5 million pixels or part thereof. The total charge is the base charge multiplied by the applicable multiplier, rounded up to a whole credit.
  • We may adjust the credit multiplier for PNG exports based on time periods, resource costs, service load, promotions, or special circumstances such as protection against abnormal requests. Relevant rules are published on the service pages, and the applicable multiplier and total credit charge are displayed before export.
  • The charge is based on the quote displayed before export and confirmed when you click Export. Later multiplier changes do not add charges to a task that has already started. If a PNG export fails or is cancelled, the credits deducted for that export are refunded in full; resource attempts already used are not restored by the refund.
  • Check features and suitability before purchase. Unless otherwise required by law, purchased credits or membership codes are generally non-refundable.

Intellectual property and content

  • The platform interface, design, code, images and documentation are protected by applicable intellectual property rights.
  • You retain only the rights you lawfully hold in uploaded or generated content. Using the platform does not change ownership of third-party assets, map data or fonts.
  • Feedback and suggestions you submit may be used to improve the product.

Image editing and personal use

  • The map wallpaper editor provides image cropping, text layout and file export for personal, non-commercial use, such as personal device wallpapers and prints for your own collection. It may not be used for product sales, commercial advertising, paid distribution or other commercial purposes.
  • You must ensure that images, maps, text and fonts come from lawful sources and that you have the necessary rights. Follow applicable licences, attribution requirements, image rights, privacy and personal data protection rules. Personal use does not automatically remove these obligations.
  • The platform provides editing tools and grants no rights to third-party assets or fonts. Uploading, buying a membership or downloading artwork does not transfer third-party intellectual property rights. Required attribution must not be removed or concealed without permission.
  • Images and selected system fonts are processed on your device and are not uploaded or stored by the editor. Filename parsing and city lookup assist layout only; they do not prove ownership, licensing or geographic accuracy. Verify this information before use.
  • You are responsible under applicable law for disputes arising from unauthorised assets, licence violations or prohibited uses. We will handle legally valid rights notices as required by law.
  • This section and other liability limits do not exclude obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for property damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence and legally applicable personal injury liability. They do not affect statutory consumer rights.

Service changes and limitations of liability

  • We may change features, prices and quotas for maintenance, upgrades, risk management or business reasons.
  • The service is provided as is, without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, absence of errors or suitability for every purpose.
  • To the extent permitted by law, the platform is not liable for indirect loss, data loss or loss of business opportunities.
